The plasma surface treatment system of the Seismic Atmosphere Plasma Cleaning Machine mainly consists of three parts: imported plasma power supply, plasma spray gun, and intelligent control system.

　　The principle of operation for plasma cleaning is mainly:

(1) Etching effect on material surface – Physical action

A multitude of active particles, including a large number of ions, excited molecules, and free radicals in the plasma, act on the surface of the solid sample. Not only do they remove the original pollutants and impurities, but they also induce etching, making the sample surface rough and forming numerous microscopic pits, thereby increasing the surface area. This improves the wettability of the solid surface.

(2) Activation Key, Cross-linking Function

Particle energy in the plasma ranges from 0 to 20 eV, while most of the bond energies in polymers are between 0 and 10 eV. Therefore, after the plasma acts on the solid surface, it can break the original chemical bonds on the surface. The free radicals in the plasma then form a networked cross-linking structure with these bonds, significantly activating the surface reactivity.

(3) Formation of new functional groups – Chemical reaction

If reactive gases are introduced into the electrical gas, complex chemical reactions will occur on the surface of the activated material, introducing new functional groups such as alkyl, amino, carboxyl, etc. These functional groups are active groups that can significantly enhance the surface activity of the material.
