Equipment Introduction
A thickener is a solid-liquid separation device based on gravity sedimentation, commonly constructed with concrete or welded metal plates, forming a shallow, conical-bottomed cylindrical trough. The thickener can concentrate a slurry containing 10% to 20% solid matter by gravity sedimentation to a bottom slurry with 45% to 55% solids content. A slow-moving rake installed inside the thickener helps discharge the thickened bottom slurry through the bottom discharge outlet. The upper part of the thickener produces a cleaner clarified liquid, which overflows and is discharged through a circular launder at the top.
NG-type dense separator, featuring a unique flocculation mixing system, materials are fully mixed with flocculants evenly and distributed at multiple points. The settled materials are scraped by a rake frame to the center discharge port of the pool for concentrated unloading.
