A CO2 incubator is a laboratory instrument used for culturing cells, tissues, and bacteria. CO2 Incubator Usage Precautions

Do not turn on the power switch before filling the CO2 incubator with water; otherwise, it may damage the heating element.

2. Replace the cylinder when the pressure is below 0.2 MPa.

3. The CO2 incubator can be used as a high-precision constant-temperature incubator; in this case, the CO2 control system must be turned off.

4. Since the CO2 sensor is calibrated at saturated humidity, the humidifying disk must always be filled with sterile water.

5. After the incubator has been running for several months, the water in the reservoir may decrease due to evaporation. When the low water level indicator (WLow12) illuminates, add water as needed. First, open the overflow pipe, then use a funnel to connect a rubber hose from the filling hole to replenish water until the low water level indicator turns off. Afterward, measure the added water and finally, seal the overflow hole.

6. If the displayed temperature exceeds the set temperature by 1℃, the OverTemp7 over-temperature alarm indicator light will illuminate, accompanied by a sharp alarm sound. In this case, the power should be turned off for 30 minutes; if the temperature remains high after turning on the (temperature control) power switch (Power20), the power should be turned off and a maintenance person should be notified.

Do not bump sensors and impeller blades of the stirrer motor, etc., when cleaning the CO2 incubator workroom.

Minimize the time spent opening the glass door.

9. If the CO2 incubator is not used for a long time, the moisture in the chamber must be removed before turning it off. After opening the glass door for ventilation for 24 hours, close it again.

10. When removing or installing the protective guard on the indoor bracket in the disassembly workroom, use the included special wrench only, and do not apply excessive force.

11. Before moving the CO2 incubator, remove the shelves and humidification trays from the lab to prevent collision damage to the glass door.

Before transporting the incubator, any water inside must be drained. To do so, tightly fit a rubber tube over the drain hole, keeping the tube opening below the instrument, take a gentle suck, then release the pipe, and the water will flow out.

Do not invert the incubator when handling it, and never lift the incubator door to prevent deformation.
