Bend Restrained Support
A Buckling Restrained Brace is a dual-functional component installed in building structures, typically bearing loads and dissipating energy during earthquakes. It consists of core material, sleeves for约束-core buckling, and unbonded material and filling material (if any) between the core and sleeve. The Buckling Restrained Brace can address the significant deficiency of the load-bearing difference between tension and compression in conventional supports, and it also possesses the energy-dissipating capability of a metal damper, playing the role of a "circuit breaker" in the structure to keep the main structure largely within the elastic range. Therefore, the application of the Buckling Restrained Brace can comprehensively enhance the seismic performance of traditional support frames. The Buckling Restrained Brace connects only with the core plate and other components, with all loads being borne by the core plate. The outer sleeve and filling material only restrict the core plate's compression buckling, allowing the core plate to yield under both tension and compression, hence exhibiting excellent hysteresis performance.
