The报废auto recycling and dismantling industry in our country has steadily progressed along with the national economy's growth. Currently, there are 546 enterprises nationwide that are qualified for dismantling, an increase of 2.4% year-on-year, with 3,000 recycling outlets, up 23% from last year. The recycling outlets for报废autos have covered over 70% of the county-level administrative regions across the country, with more than 30,000 employees. The recycling and dismantling network of报废autos is taking shape, with the number of recycling and dismantling enterprises and their overall quality gradually improving. However, the total amount of报废autos recycled is not as satisfactory. In 2012, the total amount of报废motor vehicles recycled in our country was 1.65 million, including 1.1 million报废autos, a decrease of 7.25% year-on-year; and 550,000 motorcycles, down 4.6%.
