Our company is a comprehensive fire protection provider specializing in building fire facility inspections, electrical fire detection, fire detector cleaning, fire protection maintenance and engineering renovations, as well as wholesale of fire equipment.
Methods for Testing Automatic Sprinkler Fire Protection Systems
Testing Method for Wet Systems
1) Turn on the trial water device at the end of the adverse section, check the pressure gauge; inspect the operation and feedback signals of the water flow indicator, pressure switch, and fire pump.
2) Measure the time from the opening of the trial water device at the end to the operation of the fire pump.
3) Measure the hydraulic shock intensity with a sound level meter.
4) The system is back to normal.
Testing Methods for Dry Systems
1) Open the control valve of the trial water device at the end of the disadvantageous section, inspect the operation and feedback signals of the water flow indicator, pressure switch, fire pump, and electric valve, as well as the exhaust condition of the exhaust valve.
2) Measure the time from the start of the water test device at the end of the opening to the water pressure reaching 0.05 MPa.
3) System is back to normal.
Pre-action system testing methods
1) Subsequently activate two fire detectors within the protection zone, inspect the operation and feedback signals of the solenoid valve, electric valve, fire pump, flow indicator, pressure switch, as well as the exhaust valve's exhaust status.
2) Activate the end-of-line water testing device 2 minutes after the alarm, and measure the water pressure.
3) Measure the hydraulic impact value using a sound level meter.
4) System is back to normal.
Method for Testing Rainwater Systems
1) Parallel setup of multiple deluge valves system, verify the logical relationship for controlling the deluge valves.
2) Activate two fire detectors within the protective zone sequentially or due to pressure relief in the transmission pipe. Inspect the actions and feedback signals of the solenoid valve, fire pump, and pressure switch.
3) Measure the hydraulic pressure with a sound level meter.
4) For locations where actual water spray is not recommended, the rainproof valve outlet control valve should be tightly closed prior to testing.
5) The system has been restored to normal.
One, the inspected party should pre-arrange the content, time, and area of the inspection and sign an inspection agreement.
Two, the inspected party shall provide relevant documents, such as drawings, acceptance of construction projects (fire review opinions), concealed work records, etc.
Three, the inspector shall not operate the inspected facility in principle, and must do so with the cooperation of the inspected party's personnel when necessary.
Four, if the inspected party has any objections to the test results, they may conduct a retest on-site. Sign the test record upon confirmation.
Within three business days after the inspection is completed, a test report will be issued.
