Tin-plated Copper Braided Wire - Copper Braided Wire Product Category: Copper Braided Wire
Tinned copper stranded wire is denoted as TJX or TJRX, which involves a uniform tin coating on the surface of the single strands of bare copper stranded wire. This serves to protect the copper from rusting, providing corrosion resistance, easy soldering, and antioxidant properties. Tinned copper stranded wire comes in both soft and hard varieties, known as tinned hard copper stranded wire and tinned soft copper stranded wire, respectively. The tin coating on the copper stranded wire does not affect its conductivity or tensile strength.
Tin-plated copper stranded wire parameters and properties:
Tinned copper stranded wire (hard and medium hard) is produced using oxygen-free copper rods electrolytically tinned, and then undergoes multi-strand drawing and continuous annealing. The tinning surface is smooth and continuous, free of any defects that would affect product performance. Inspection standards for tinned copper wire/tinned round copper wire:
The tin coating should be continuous; the surface of the specimen after testing with sodium thiosulfate solution should not become black, or after testing with ammonium sulfate solution, the color of the test solution should not be darker than that of the standard color comparison solution. Method of indicating tin-coated copper stranded wire:
According to the requirements of the Chinese GB standard, tin-plated hard copper stranded wire is represented by "TX," and tin-plated soft copper stranded wire is represented by "TRX." For instance, a 35 sqmm tin-plated hard copper stranded wire is denoted as "TJX35," while a 50 sqmm tin-plated soft copper stranded wire is labeled "TJRX50."
