Tinned copper stranded wire is denoted as TJX or TJRX, which involves a uniform layer of tin applied to the individual strands of the bare copper stranded wire. This is done to protect the copper from rust, providing corrosion resistance, easy soldering, and antioxidant properties. Tinned copper stranded wire comes in both soft and hard varieties, known as hard tinned copper stranded wire and soft tinned copper stranded wire, respectively. Tinning the copper stranded wire does not affect the wire's conductivity or tensile strength.
