Tinned copper stranded wire is denoted as TJX or TJRX, which involves applying a uniform layer of tin to the surface of the individual strands of the bare copper stranded wire. This is done to prevent the copper from rusting, offering corrosion resistance, ease of soldering, and antioxidant properties. Tinned copper stranded wire comes in two types, soft and hard, known as tinned hard copper stranded wire and tinned soft copper stranded wire, respectively. The tinning process does not affect the wire's conductivity or tensile strength.
