Tinned copper stranded wire is denoted as TJX or TJRX, which involves uniformly applying a layer of tin to the surface of the single strands of bare copper stranded wire. This is done to protect the copper from rust, providing corrosion resistance, easy soldering, and antioxidant properties. Tinned copper stranded wire comes in two types, soft and hard, known as tinned hard copper stranded wire and tinned soft copper stranded wire, respectively. The tinning process does not affect the wire's conductivity or tensile strength.
