Explosion-proof wall construction method:
1. Installation and securing of the keel
(1) Ground, roof, and wall irregularities requiring a dragon frame installation should be repaired.
(2) Mark the locations of the joists on the ground and roof according to the design, and indicate the positions of doors, windows, and pipe openings.
(3) Secure the studs with chemical bolts (or at the pre-bolted welding points), ensuring the spacing between chemical bolts (welding pre-bolted points) is ≤1200mm.
(4) Method of explosion-proof wall: The spacing between the horizontal and vertical rib steel is 1200*1200mm. The rib steel is焊接back-to-back, and the insulation type is filled with mineral wool insulation board, with the thickness conforming to the rib standard.
Exterior Fireproofing Method Two: The spacing between horizontal and vertical ribbed steel is 407*407mm. The ribs can be directly fastened. Insulation type requires filling with rock wool insulation board, with thickness following the rib standard.
When cutting the joists, pay attention to keep the vertical joist opening directions consistent; do not invert them from top to bottom to ensure the vertical joist holes are on the same horizontal plane.
(5) Use a plumb bob to adjust the verticality of the upright joists.
(6) Install reinforced rods at the ends of window and door frames, wall junctions, and both sides of large openings.
(7) Set up additional support objects at the location of the suspended equipment for proper fixation.
(8) Install concealed piping and outlets, as well as internal fillings (such as rock wool according to design specifications). If holes need to be drilled in the vertical studs, the hole diameter must not exceed half the width of the stud.
(9) Inspect the size and verticality of the rib frame, as well as its integrity and sturdiness; installation of the explosion-proof panel can proceed only upon passing the inspection.
2. Explosion-proof plate installation and fixation
(1) Cutting and drilling the boards according to the design drawings and actual construction, chamfering on-site as necessary. The two longer sides of the explosion-proof plate have already been chamfered. However, when the wall height exceeds 2400mm, the shorter sides of the horizontal joints on the explosion-proof plate must be chamfered on-site for better joint treatment.
(2) Mark the fixing points for self-tapping screws on the explosion-proof panel surface and pre-drill concave holes (1mm to 2mm larger in diameter than the self-tapping screw head). Self-tapping screw spacing: 150-300mm (double rows of self-tapping screws are required for edge joists facing each other).
(3) When laying the boards, it is generally done vertically, with the long edges of the boards fixed to the vertical studs; the boards should be naturally brought close together during jointing, and should not be forced into place; the seams on both sides of the wall should be staggered, and should not fall on the same stud.
(4) When securing the explosion-proof plate, pre-drill holes should be made in the plate and the joist. The plate should be fastened with self-tapping screws, and it should be secured from the center of the plate towards the edges. All screw heads should be countersunk into the plate and penetrate the joist.
