Patterned sheet, also known as printed color steel sheet, refers to the process of printing various patterns onto steel plates through technical means on various base sheets.
The substrate can be cold-rolled, electro galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, and aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets. The appropriate material with suitable mechanical properties should be selected based on the specific application.
Cold-rolled base sheets are color-coated steel sheets produced from cold-rolled base sheets, which have limited corrosion resistance. Any minor scratches on the surface coating will quickly lead to red rust, affecting usability. The color coating of this base sheet is suitable for making internal parts of household appliances or for temporary, low-height barrier fences.
Electro galvanized steel sheets with a colored coating, protected by the zinc layer, exhibit superior corrosion resistance compared to cold rolled colored coated sheets. Due to the thin zinc layer (typically 20g/m2), their processing performance is better than hot dipped galvanized sheets. When manufacturing products and components requiring corrosion resistance, consider using colored coated sheets with electro galvanized steel as the base material. This includes internal and external components of air conditioners, washing machine or refrigerator casings; interior wall coverings, furniture, lighting fixtures, signs, and more.
Galvanized aluminum steel sheets, since their introduction to the global market in the 1970s, have become a popular choice for roofing and wall steel. The hot-dip alloy coating of galvanized aluminum steel sheets contains 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon, effectively combining the strength of steel, the corrosion resistance of aluminum, and the sacrificial protective ability of zinc against cuts and interruptions. Under similar environmental conditions, the lifespan of steel sheets with the same coating thickness as galvanized steel sheets is about four times that of galvanized steel sheets. Galvanized aluminum steel sheets are a product with an excellent price-performance ratio, with costs far lower than stainless steel sheets or aluminum sheets, and they boast a stunning, light silver-gray luster.
