PTFE molded parts process
The PTFE molding process typically includes the following steps:
Mixed materialMix PTFE powder with the necessary additives uniformly.
Pre-formedThe mixed PTFE powder is then added to the mold and compacted into a dense preform under normal temperature and pressure.
SinteredThe pre-formed product is heated above its melting point to melt and solidify the PTFE powder into its final shape.
CoolingThe sintered product is cooled to room temperature, completing the molding process.
Applications of PTFE Molding Parts
Due to the superior properties of PTFE molded parts, they are widely used in the following fields:
Chemical IndustryPTFE molded products are widely used in the transportation, storage, and processing of chemical media, such as in the manufacture of pipes, pump components, valves, and sealing gaskets.
Medical FieldPTFE molded products are widely used in medical devices and medical packaging fields, such as manufacturing surgical instruments and tracheostomy tubes.
Food IndustryPTFE molded products also hold an important position in food processing and packaging, such as in the manufacturing of non-stick baking pans, oven liners, and lip heads.
Machinery fieldPTFE molded products are also widely used in mechanical components and bearings, such as in the manufacturing of bearings, washers, gears, etc.
