KHJ0.1/12L Emergency Lockout Switch for Coal Mine Underground

I. Main Applications

The KHJ0.1/12L underground coal mine emergency interlock switch (hereinafter referred to as the interlock switch) is one of the main protective devices for belt conveyors and monorails, suitable for environments with explosive hazards such as coal dust in underground coal mines. It is connected to intrinsically safe system signal control in circuits that have passed intrinsically safe testing. In the event of various accidents along the conveyor line, operators can pull the rope along the line to activate the interlock switch, thereby cutting off power to the belt conveyor control system and stopping the machine. The interlock switch can also be used in non-explosive locations on the ground, such as steel mills, cement plants, power plants, ports, and docks, where belt conveyors are present, serving as an emergency interlock protection for rope pulling along the line.

The locking switch should operate reliably under the following conditions:

a. Environmental temperature: -10℃ to +40℃

b. Average relative humidity not exceeding 95% (+25°C)

c. Atmospheric Pressure: 80～106 KPa

d. Applications with no significant vibration or impact.

e. In environments where there is no severe condensation, waterlogging, or insulation damage from corrosive gases.

f. Working in environments with explosive mixtures of methane and coal dust underground in coal mines.
