Instrument Application

Testing the breaking strength and elongation at break for various fibers such as cotton, wool, hemp, silk, and synthetic fibers, as well as tungsten (molybdenum) wire. The instrument can be connected to a PC for bidirectional control and to display strength-elongation curves and data reports. Data can be saved or printed out, and additional features such as testing the elastic recovery of specimens, glass fiber stretching, fabric stretching, fabric peeling tests, constant elongation load, and constant strength elongation tests can be added upon user request. Custom pneumatic clamps are available.
