One. Coal powder sampler usage
The Coal Powder Sampler is a custom-made, professional automated sampling equipment designed for the coal powder sampling issue in the direct blowing coal powder system of thermal power plants. It is a continuous-running sampler powered by compressed air. It is suitable for regular coal powder sampling on the primary air coal powder pipeline of the direct blowing coal powder system, primarily relying on the equal circular ring area sampling method, ensuring the collected samples are representative.
Due to equipment wear and coal type variations, the fineness of the coal can undergo significant changes, affecting the economic operation of the boiler. Therefore, regular sampling and testing of the coal powder fineness should serve as the basis for adjusting the swing gate opening of the separator and replacing worn-out equipment components in a timely manner.
The product employs automatic blowing with compressed air and automatic suction sampling with a vacuum pump, which prevents clogging at the sampling port and facilitates sampling. The speed of sampling is controlled by adjusting the pressure of the compressed air. This ensures a more accurate measurement of coal powder fineness. The sampling tube moves uniformly forward or backward to achieve comprehensive sampling of the entire circular cross-sectional area within the pipeline.

The coal powder sampler is mainly composed of the sampling system, separation system, programming system, display unit, control system, timing system, execution system, and installation accessories.
Section 4: Coal Powder Sampler Product Features
1. Timed Sampling; This equipment is equipped with a microcomputer-controlled timer switch, which automatically samples within the set time frame, then automatically shuts off, significantly saving energy. Operators only need to collect the sample in front of the sampler after the set sampling time has ended. For instance, if an operator sets the sampling time to 9 AM, with a sampling duration of 10 minutes (adjustable), the operator would simply collect the sample at 9:10 AM. No further action is required, greatly reducing the operator's workload and improving sampling efficiency. The timer switch can be set for 16 timed events per day, meaning 16 automatic samplings can be scheduled.
2. Spot Sampling; the sampler is equipped with a programmable system, allowing for any sampling length to be set. For instance, when the sampling length is set to 600mm, the sampler takes samples at a constant speed until it reaches 600mm from the pipe wall, then automatically retracts into the protective tube, placing itself outside the coal powder airflow. This design minimizes wear and extends the sampler's lifespan.
3. Automatic blow cleaning; to prevent the sampling tube from clogging, the equipment must undergo an automatic blow cleaning after each automatic sampling, with adjustable cleaning time.

Section 6: Coal Powder Sampler Installation Steps
This equipment features a unique design concept that effectively integrates the exhaust gas pipe with the sampling tube, requiring only one connecting pipe to be welded during installation.
Compressed air must be provided on-site.
2. Installation Location: Installed on the vertical section of the coal powder pipeline.
3. Holes: Two ￠50mm installation holes are to be drilled in the coal powder pipe.
4. Determine the length of the fixed pipe and the sampling gun travel based on the coal powder pipeline diameter.
5. Securely weld the fixed tube to ensure smooth entry and exit for the sampling gun.
