Waterstop bolts are also split-type waterstop bolts; they are used for waterproofing and reinforcement of basement shear walls or civil defense walls, as well as for controlling formwork.
Due to the drawbacks of traditional waterstops for tension bolts, the new three-section waterstop bolts achieve cost savings, ease of construction, and double the construction speed. They also enhance the speed of dismantling building forms while ensuring zero damage to the forms.
When pouring concrete for the underground foundation walls or columns, secure the formwork to prevent blowouts. This is because the rod passes through the wall, making water easily seep in along the bolt. Therefore, a square steel plate is welded in the middle of the bolt, known as a water-stop plate, which can increase the water seepage path and serve as a water-stop.
