Waterstop bolts are also split-type waterstop bolts, used for sealing and reinforcement of basement shear walls or civil defense walls, as well as for controlling formwork.
Due to the drawbacks of traditional waterstops for tension bolts, the new three-section waterstop bolts achieve cost savings, ease of construction, and double the construction speed. They also increase the speed of dismantling formwork and ensure zero damage to the formwork.
When casting concrete for basement walls or columns, secure the formwork to prevent blowouts. This is because this rod passes through the wall, and water can easily seep in along the bolt. Therefore, a square steel plate is welded in the middle of the bolt called a water-stop bolt, which can increase the water penetration path and serve as a water stop.
