Waterstop bolts are also known as separate waterstop bolt rods, which are used for waterproofing and reinforcement of basement shear walls or civil defense walls, as well as for controlling formwork.
Due to the drawbacks of traditional waterstop for tension bolts, the new three-section waterstop bolt achieves cost savings, ease of construction, and doubles the construction speed. It also enhances the speed of dismantling formwork while ensuring zero damage to the formwork.
When pouring concrete for the basement walls or columns, secure the formwork to prevent bursting. This is because the rod passes through the wall, and water can easily seep in along the bolt. Therefore, a square steel plate is welded in the middle of the bolt, known as a water stop, to increase the water penetration path and serve as a water stop.
