Polar Darlington Tube ULN2003A Description:
The ULN2003AN is a single-chip Darlington array IC for high voltage and high current applications. Composed of 7 groups of NPN Darlington transistors, it features high voltage output characteristics and a cathode clamp diode for converting inductive loads. The collector current of a single Darlington pair is 250mA. Parallel Darlington transistors can handle higher currents. This circuit is primarily used in relay drivers, solenoid drivers, lamp drivers, display drivers (LED gas discharge), line drivers, and logic drivers.
Each Darlington pair in the ULN2003AN has a 2.7kΩ series resistor, which can be directly connected to TTL or 5V CMOS devices.
