
Large-Scale Integrated Darlington Driver ICOverview of ULN2003H:
The ULN2003H is a monolithic integrated circuit array of high voltage, high current Darlington transistors. It consists of 7 groups of NPN Darlington transistors, featuring high voltage output characteristics and cathode clamp diodes for converting inductive loads. The collector current of a single Darlington pair is 250mA. Darlington transistors can be paralleled to handle higher currents. This circuit is primarily used in relay drivers, solenoid drivers, lamp drivers, display drivers (LED gas discharge), line drivers, and logic drivers.
Each Darlington pair of the ULN2003H has a 2.7kΩ series resistor, which can be directly connected to TTL or 5V CMOS devices.
