Universal LED Driver ChipDescription: 74HC595D
The 74HC595D is a universal LED driver chip featuring 8-bit latching, 8-bit serial input, 8-bit serial/parallel output, serial-to-parallel shift register, and tri-state output capabilities. It includes an 8-bit shift register and a memory, with tri-state output functionality. The shift register and memory operate on separate clocks. Data is input on the rising edge of SCK and enters the storage register on the rising edge of RCK. The shift register has a serial shift input (SER), a serial output (Q7'), and an asynchronous low-level reset. The storage register has an 8-bit parallel output with tri-state bus capabilities; when enabled (G is low), the data from the storage register is output to the bus. It is fully compatible with the 74HC595D produced by other companies.
