MGTSV-48B Fiber Optic Cable

1. The mining cable MGTSV is a special application of optical fiber cables in the communication field, specifically designed for the coal mining industry's communication needs. It is used in mining environments such as coal mines, gold mines, and iron mines.
2. The mining cable MGTSV not only inherits all the performance of fiber optic cables but also adds many special features due to the specific requirements of the coal mining industry.
3. Due to the lack of standards for other minerals like gold and iron ore, since the comprehensive performance of coal mine cables is a standard for mining use and also a high requirement in the industry.
Execution standards, thus other mines generally design and produce according to coal mine optical cables.
4. The ANS certified communication cable has only one model, MGTSV, with the following corresponding requirements. Its practical application range includes: mine shafts, tunnel shafts, and tunnels.
Mining Cable Structure
Categorized into:a- Center Conductor Cable (2-12 cores, due to production process limitations, this process can only produce up to 12 cores)
B- Braided (2-144 cores, usually the center tube design is preferred when less than 12 cores)
1. Centered Bundle Type: From inside to outside, it consists of optical fibers, fiber gel, loose tube, fine steel wires (multiple strands wrapped around in a circle), steel strip, PE inner sheath, flame-retardant jacket (blue)
2. Stranded: Centered with reinforcing elements (typically phosphated steel wire), fiber optic, fiber optic grease, loose tube, tie wraps, cable grease, steel tape, PE inner sheath.
Flame-retardant Sheath (Blue)
The structure of the flame-retardant optical cable for mining is to encase single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers into a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, with water-blocking compounds filled inside the tube. The cable core features a center wire made of phosphated steel or a steel wire rope coated with polyethylene. The core is reinforced by a loose-tube (or filling rope and signal line) wrapped around the central reinforcing core, forming a compact and round cable core. The gaps within the cable core are filled with water-resistant filling material, followed by a blue flame-retardant PVC sheath to complete the cable.
