Shipper pays destination duties and taxes To further facilitate the export process of parcels, DHL Express can arrange for the shipper or a third party to pay for any duties, taxes, or customs fees incurred at the destination. This eliminates the need for the recipient to bear these costs. As long as the shipper requests that duties, taxes, or other customs fees be paid outside of the destination country or region, the payment can be settled with the shipper or a third party.
