During the production process of semi-finished and finished products for electrical transformers, before the newly installed transformer is put into operation and in accordance with the preventive testing regulations of the National Power Department, it is required to test the turns ratio or voltage ratio of the operating transformers. This can check the accuracy of the transformer turns ratio, the condition of the tap changer, whether there is inter-turn short-circuit in the transformer, and whether the transformer can be operated in parallel. The traditional ratio bridge readings are not intuitive, and calculations must be made; measurements can only be taken phase by phase.

There is no impact when the power source is a generator.

After inputting rated parameters, the transformer turns ratio, error value, and tap changer position can be automatically measured, especially for tap changers with asymmetric taps, the exact position of the transformer tap changer can also be accurately measured. The tap changer can measure up to 99 tap positions.
