Product Introduction
LDDL-III Overhead Line Fault Locating Instrument, suitable for locating faults in 6-35kV overhead lines, capable of resolving various fault types including low-resistance faults, high-resistance faults, arc-ground faults, and phase-to-phase short circuits. Offers a comprehensive solution for overhead line fault location, integrating fault diagnosis, AC location, DC location, DC withstand voltage, and AC withstand voltage functions. The innovative AC location mode detects characteristic signals directly below the line for low-resistance faults, eliminating the need to climb poles and install sensors, featuring easy operation and convenient use. For high-resistance faults on lines equipped with smart switches (with ground PT), employs AC location with a step-up transformer, without the need to disconnect the PT. The transmitter is built with a high-capacity lithium battery, facilitating ease of use and portability.
The LDDL-III overhead transmission line fault locating device mainly consists of a transmitter, a receiver, an AC step-up transformer, directly connected sensors, suspended sensors, an arc ground adapter, and accessories.

Product Features
◆ LDDL-III Overhead Line Fault Locating Device Usage: Fault location for overhead lines rated 6-35kV
The LDDL-III overhead line fault location device integrates five functions: fault diagnosis, AC positioning, DC positioning, AC withstand voltage, and DC withstand voltage.
◆ Fault Diagnosis
→ Guide appropriate positioning methods.
Line insulation resistance and capacitance measurement.
Direct Output (Low Transition Resistance to Ground) - Communication Orientation
Transmitted Signal: Active injection of high-power special low-frequency AC signals.
Signal Reception: Locate segments along the line without climbing poles to attach sensors.
Efficient Work: No need to climb poles, significantly improves testing efficiency, and reduces workload intensity.
Communication Position - External Step-up Transformer Output (Line has a grounded PT, intermediate transition resistance grounded):
→ Transmission Signal: Active injection of high-power special low-frequency AC signal.
Signal Reception: Segment-wise search along the line, requires climbing poles to attach sensors.
No need to disconnect the line grounding PT.
Innovative comparison of resistive current content and amplitude, solving a wider range of fault issues.
Direct Current Positioning (High/Low Transition Resistance Grounding and Arc Grounding):
→ Transmission Signal: Active injection of high-power pulsating DC signal.
Signal Reception: Segment-wise search along the line, requires climbing poles to connect sensors.
All-in-one positioning mode, especially solving the arc grounding positioning challenge.
Direct current withstand voltage and alternating current withstand voltage
