Product Introduction
Ultra-low frequency insulation withstand testing, as an effective alternative to traditional power frequency withstand testing, has been widely adopted in the power industry. For test items such as large and medium-sized generators, motors, and power cables, their insulation layers possess a significant electrical capacity. Traditional power frequency withstand testing requires large capacity test transformers or resonant transformers, which are not only bulky and expensive but also difficult to use. To overcome this challenge, the international community has commonly adopted the method of reducing the test frequency, thereby effectively lowering the test power source capacity. Years of theory and practical experience have proven that 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency withstand testing is equivalent to power frequency withstand testing, while significantly reducing the size and weight of the equipment; theoretically, the capacity is only one五百th of power frequency, and the operation is simple and convenient. This is the main reason why developed countries widely adopt this method.
In response to the actual conditions of our country's power system, the National Development and Reform Commission has established the industry standard "Test Method for Voltage Withstand of Ultra-Low Frequency (0.1Hz) for Cross-Linked Polyethylene Insulated Power Cables with 35kV and Below," and promulgated the power industry standard "General Technical Conditions for Ultra-Low Frequency High-Voltage Generators DL/T 849.4-2004" in 2004 to promote this new testing method. Although DC withstand test equipment has advantages such as small size, light weight, and low cost, it also has a relatively high destructive effect on the insulation of the tested items. Therefore, the new regulations on preventive testing of electrical equipment issued by the state have explicitly stipulated that DC high voltage shall no longer be used for voltage withstand testing of electrical equipment, and instead, AC withstand testing is recommended.
The new-generation LD-0.1HZ ultra-low frequency high-voltage generator developed by Wuhan Longdian Electrical Co., Ltd. incorporates advanced power electronic components and ARM7 microcontroller technology, further reducing the device's size and weight, achieving user-friendly operation, and enhancing stability. Compared to the previous mechanical step-up transformer, the new product overcomes the drawbacks of short service life, high failure rate, and large size. After years of practical application and extensive user feedback, this series of ultra-low frequency high-voltage technology holds a top position nationwide, offering excellent value for money!
