


Product Introduction:
Horizontal screw blade mixers are widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and construction materials industries. They are suitable for processes such as blending powders with powders, adding a small amount of liquid to powders, and blending powders with granules.
The mixer features a main shaft with two layers of helical belts twisted in opposite directions, which, powered by the motor, rapidly blends the material. The equipment boasts excellent uniform mixing capabilities, high production efficiency, and a low failure rate. This is a batch-type mixer, and the appropriate model is selected based on the amount of material processed per batch.
Operating Principle:
The horizontal helical ribbon blender is primarily composed of the mixing chamber, agitator, and drive unit. The agitator shaft, installed inside the U-shaped tube-shaped chamber, features double helical blades that spiral in opposite directions. The outer spiral ribbon, powered by the drive, pushes the material from the ends of the U-shaped chamber towards the center due to its winding pattern and rotational direction. Meanwhile, the inner spiral ribbon pushes the material from the center towards the ends, creating a convectional mixing effect.
The horizontal cylinder bottom of the blender is equipped with a discharge port in the center. The helical structure of the outer spiral belt, aligned with the rotation direction of the main shaft, drives the material inside the cylinder wall to the central discharge port, ensuring there are no dead corners in the discharge of the material inside the cylinder.
Batch processing capacity: 0.1 to 20 cubic meters
Each batch processes materials from 0.3 to 15 tons.
Mixed time within 3~15 minutes
Equipment material options include 316L, 321, 304, and carbon steel.
