Horizontal screw blade mixer is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, building materials, and other fields. It can be used for mixing powders with powders, adding a small amount of liquid to mix powders, and mixing powders with granules, etc.
The mixer features a main shaft with two layers of helical belts wound in different directions, which, powered by the motor, rapidly blends the material. This equipment boasts excellent uniform mixing capabilities, high production efficiency, and a low failure rate. It is a batch-type mixer, and the appropriate equipment model is selected based on the amount of material processed per batch.
Operation Principle:
The horizontal helical ribbon mixer is primarily composed of a mixing chamber, agitator, and driving unit. The agitator shaft, installed in the U-shaped tube-shaped chamber, is wrapped with a double helical ribbon in opposite directions. The outer spiral ribbon, driven by power, pushes the material from the ends of the U-shaped chamber towards the central zone, while the inner spiral ribbon pushes the material from the center towards the ends, creating a convectional mixing effect.
The horizontal cylinder bottom of the mixer features a discharge port in the center. The helical structure of the outer spiral belt, synchronized with the rotation direction of the main shaft, drives the material inside the cylinder wall towards the central discharge port, ensuring a seamless discharge with no dead corners inside the cylinder.
Batch processing capacity: 0.1 to 20 cubic meters
Each batch processes material from 0.3 to 15 tons.
Mixed within 3 to 15 minutes
