Horizontal screw blade mixers are widely used in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, and building materials. They are suitable for processes like mixing powders with powders, adding a small amount of liquid to powders, and mixing powders with granules.
The mixer features a main shaft with two layers of helical belts twisted in opposite directions, which, powered by the motor, quickly blends the materials. This equipment boasts excellent uniform mixing capabilities, high production efficiency, and a low failure rate. It is a batch-type mixer, and the appropriate equipment model is selected based on the amount of material processed per batch.
Working Principle:
The horizontal ribbon mixer is primarily composed of the mixing chamber, agitator, and driving unit. The agitator shaft, installed inside a U-shaped tube-shaped chamber, features double-helix ribbon blades winding in opposite directions. The outer spiral ribbon, driven by power, pushes materials from the ends of the U-shaped chamber towards the center based on its winding pattern and rotational direction. Meanwhile, the inner spiral ribbon pushes materials from the center towards the ends, creating a convective mixing effect.
The horizontal cylinder bottom of the mixer features a discharge port in the center. The helical structure of the outer spiral belt, aligned with the rotation direction of the main shaft, drives the material inside the cylinder wall towards the central discharge port, ensuring there are no dead corners in the cylinder material discharge.
Batch processing capacity: 0.1~20 cubic meters
Each batch processes materials from 0.3 to 15 tons.
Mixing time is 3 to 15 minutes.
Equipment material can be 316L, 321, 304, carbon steel
