Our company specializes in air conveying design. Air conveying is a non-standard product, tailored to meet specific customer requirements. Dense phase conveying systems are suitable for long conveying pipeline distances and materials that are granular, flowable, and both erosive and non-erosive, such as quartz sand and plastic pellets. Its components include pressure vessels (conveying tanks), electrical control systems, and the conveying pipeline itself.
During the feeding process, materials are added to the dispatch tank via a bellows valve, a double butterfly valve, or an expandable butterfly valve. The displaced air is released through an exhaust valve, making feeding easier and also counteracting the reverse pressure that hinders material flow. When the dispatch tank is full (indicated by a level gauge or weighing equipment, reaching 80% of the tank's volume), both the feeding valve and the exhaust valve are closed and sealed. Then, compressed air is introduced into the top of the dispatch tank through an intake valve, mixing with the material. When the pressure inside the tank reaches the set value, the bottom discharge valve automatically opens, pressurizing the entire conveying pipeline. The material is then transported in a plunger-like form until it is emptied. When the pressure inside the dispatch tank drops to zero, the pneumatic supply is closed, and any remaining gas is also expelled from the dispatch tank and the conveying pipeline.
