Concept:
Fruit and vegetable cold storage preservation is a method that inhibits the activity of microorganisms and enzymes, extending the storage life of produce. Cold storage preservation technology is the primary method for modern low-temperature preservation of fruits and vegetables. The preservation temperature range for fruits and vegetables is 0℃ to 15℃, and preservation storage can reduce the incidence of pathogens and the rate of fruit rot. It also slows down the respiratory metabolic process of fruits and vegetables, thereby preventing spoilage and extending the storage period. Even after being removed from the MAS environment, the stored items' cells will maintain a normal metabolic rate akin to natural conditions, preventing rapid spoilage and maturation.
