Fluoroplastic materials are molded, machined, or cut into various shapes to produce processed parts with diverse properties. They offer a wide temperature range, excellent flame retardancy and insulation, low water absorption, and a low coefficient of friction. They are resistant to corrosion (except alkali metals in molten form and under high temperature and pressure) and aging. Modified PTFE gaskets with fillers can enhance hardness, reduce friction, extend service life, and expand temperature and environmental applicability. They are widely used in industries such as electrical, automotive, compressors, instruments, mechanical seals, petrochemical, chemical, textile, dyeing, electroplating, metallurgy, aviation, ceramics, and bridges.
