Fluoroplastic is molded, machined, or cut into various shapes and processed into components with diverse properties. It boasts a wide temperature range, excellent flame retardancy and insulation, low water absorption, and a low coefficient of friction. It is resistant to corrosion (excluding molten alkali metals and under high temperature and pressure conditions) and aging resistance. PTFE gaskets modified with fillers can enhance hardness, reduce friction, extend service life, and broaden the temperature and environmental application range. They are widely used in industries such as electrical, automotive, compressors, instruments, mechanical seals, petrochemicals, chemicals, textiles, dyeing and printing, electroplating, metallurgy, aviation, ceramics, and bridges.
