Overview

The Welding Rig Series for Operations is one of the main equipment for automatic welding in industries such as boilers, pressure vessels, pipelines, petrochemicals, and metal structures. It can be paired with roller stands, positioners, head and tail frames, and flip machines to form an automatic welding system. It is suitable for welding longitudinal and circumferential seams on various pressure vessel shells or large-diameter pipelines, spherical end cap seams, welding of the inner walls of shells and end caps, and surfacing in the reinforcement areas of end caps. It can be equipped with TIG, MIG/MAG, PAW, SAW, and other welding processes. The entire equipment has a reasonable structure and reliable, efficient welding process, with all control processes using touchscreens and PLC control.

Process Features

The straight seam welding is performed using a jib walking method, while the circular seam welding is done by rotating the workpiece. The column jib can rotate 90° for welding cylinders over 10 meters in length.

Modular design allows for quick and easy assembly of the desired welding system according to customer requirements.
