Kangshang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. is a professional contractor specializing in soil compaction and replacement, with over 30 new hydraulic compaction equipment sets. We can undertake soil compaction and replacement projects ranging from 1000kn.m to 20,000kn.m. Our services are nationwide, with over a thousand successful construction projects. Our management and technical team are among the earliest builders in this field domestically. After years of exploration and practice, we have gained high recognition and a good reputation in the industry, earning positive reviews and recognition from our clients, and have gradually developed into a professional foundation construction brand with strong equipment, technical, and management capabilities!
The main advantages of the dynamic compaction method include: wide application range, significant reinforcement effects, large effective reinforcement depth, simple construction equipment, material and cost savings, and environmental friendliness.
(1) Application Scope: Compaction method can be used for reinforcement of various sandy soils, silt loams, general clayey soils, loess, artificial fill, particularly suitable for reinforcing large gravelly soils that are difficult to reinforce by general methods, as well as for mixed fills composed of shallow, domestic waste, or industrial waste. The replacement method can also be used for reinforcing soft soil foundations.
(2) Significant Reinforcement Effect: After the foundation has been treated with dynamic compaction, it can significantly enhance the shear strength and bearing capacity of the soil, while reducing its compressibility.
(3) Construction equipment is simple: The main equipment for dynamic compaction is crawler cranes. Substitute dynamic compaction equipment can be used with gantry frames and other facilities when necessary to enhance lifting capacity and stability.
(4) Material Savings: Compared to other ground treatment methods, the dynamic compaction method does not require steel, cement, and other construction materials, which can significantly reduce the consumption of construction materials.
(5) Cost Savings: The dynamic compaction method is cost-effective among the commonly used ground treatment techniques, with a cost that is only 1/6 of CFG piles, 1/10 of mixed piles, and 1/2 of lime-soil piles.
(6) Eco-Friendly: The compaction method used in construction does not consume steel, cement, and other high-energy-consuming building materials, and it also does not pollute the surrounding environment.
The main drawback of the dynamic compaction method is that it generates significant vibrations and noise during construction, which can have a certain impact on surrounding buildings, structures, and the environment.
The dynamic compaction method is suitable for treating foundations such as gravelly soil, sandy soil, low-saturation silt and clay, collapsible loess, unconsolidated fill, and mixed fill. The treated foundation not only enhances the strength of the soil but also reduces its compressibility, while also improving its resistance to vibration-induced liquefaction. Therefore, dynamic compaction is often used for treating foundations with liquefiable sandy soil as well.
The dynamic compaction method is simple to operate, has a wide range of soil applicability, and achieves significant reinforcement effects, allowing for higher bearing capacity, typically increasing the soil foundation strength by 2 to 5 times; it reduces deformation settlement by 2 to 10 times; the soil particles are tightly bound, offering high structural strength; it is highly efficient with rapid construction speed, cutting the construction period by half compared to soil replacement and backfilling; it saves reinforcement materials; has low construction costs, reducing investment; it saves 60% of the costs compared to soil replacement and backfilling, and 50% to 70% of the investment compared to precast pile reinforcement, and 40% to 50% compared to sand piles.
