This project is located south of the Wuhuan Road in Xuzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, west of National Highway 206, and east of the Jinfu Railway. The site is currently undergoing backfilling and has met the "three connections and one leveling" requirements. The design employs the dynamic compaction method for foundation treatment. The northeastern part of the factory area requires the use of dynamic compaction to treat the foundation to meet the foundation design specifications.
Cone Penetration Requirements
(1) After reinforcement, the reinforced foundation must be inspected. If the inspection results do not meet the design and specification requirements, treatment or additional compaction is necessary.
(2) Strictly adhere to the design for construction, ensuring no missing or insufficient compaction.
(3) When the compaction pile location is less than 20 meters from existing buildings, treatment measures should be taken in accordance with the requirements of the monitoring unit.
(4) Single Point Compaction Construction Steps
Prior to single-point dynamic compaction work, draw the arrangement maps of compaction points for each zone based on the design principles. The steps for single-point dynamic compaction are as follows:
Clear and level the construction site.
② Mark the first compaction point locations and measure the site elevation.
③ The compaction pile driver is in place, the pile hammer is positioned at the compaction point.
④ Measure the pre-compaction and post-compaction elevation.
⑤ Hoist the tamper to the predetermined height, activate the unhooking device, allowing the tamper to fall freely, lower the hoist, and measure the height of the tamper's top; if the tamper is found to be skewed due to the inclined bottom of the pit, the pit bottom should be leveled promptly.
⑥ Repeat the previous step, and complete the tamping of a tamping point according to the design-specified number of blows and control standards; when the tamping pit is too deep, lifting the hammer becomes difficult, but there is no significant bulging, and it has not yet reached the control standards, it is advisable to refill the pit to the level of the pit top and continue tamping.
⑦ Change the compaction point, repeat steps 3 to 6, and complete the first round of compaction for all compaction points.
⑧ Level the compaction holes with a bulldozer and measure the site's elevation.
After the specified time intervals, sequentially complete all the tamping passes as mentioned above; then use low-energy full tamping to compact the loose soil on the ground surface, and measure the elevation of the ground after tamping.
Cone Penetration Construction Process
Construction Preparation → Site Leveling → Compaction Point Layout → First Point Compaction Construction → Second Point Compaction Construction → Smoothing → Full Compaction → Smoothing → Testing and Inspection.
