Rotary Grate Cleaning MachinePre-use inspections are a well-known requirement, where we need to check the normalcy of all components before the mechanical grate can be put into operation, ensuring the safety of our staff and equipment. There are two basic tasks before starting the mechanical grate that are often overlooked, yet they are crucial for the grate's proper functioning. This is because the normal operation of the mechanical grate is related to many factors, including whether it is designed, manufactured, installed, and used according to specifications, whether it is cleaned, lubricated, and maintained as required, and its repair capabilities. Additionally, attention must be given to the load on the mechanical grate, the quality of the engine oil, the operational skill level of the production staff, and whether the equipment is regularly maintained.
Prior to starting the mechanical grate, you must manually rotate the handle at the motor's rear end. The grate teeth should move normally without any noise or vibration before turning it on. Then, remove the handle.
Prior to starting the mechanical grille, first check if the motor's rotation direction matches the direction of the equipment's rake teeth. After a few manual trips to ensure everything is normal, it can then be operated normally. For automatic wastewater treatment equipment like the mechanical grille, it is crucial to conduct necessary checks and settings before operation to better protect the running equipment.
Three, during the operation of the mechanical grate, if fiber impurities or other debris block the rake chain, they should be cleared promptly to avoid affecting the normal operation of the equipment. Then, depending on the amount of waste, clean the waste hanging on the discharge plate regularly.
Four, if the motor runs normally but the rake teeth do not, it indicates that an overload has caused the safety pin to break. In this case, the power supply must be disconnected and the overloaded safety pin replaced.
Five, maintenance and inspection of the reducer should be carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, and grease should be added to the bearings and chains on a monthly basis.
