Description

The sand and gravel selection mill is widely used in sand and gravel plants, construction sites, hydropower stations, civil construction of concrete dams, utility poles, and large precast pipelines. It is also used by manufacturers of casting mesh sand, well backfill pressure sand, glass quartz sand, and other products.

Product Features


1. Sorting Principle


Breaking through the traditional process principle of water-washed sand and stone separation, the V-type separator and the flat vortex cage separator are combined, significantly increasing the system's processing capacity. The V-type powder separator, as a separator, has no moving parts and is made of wear-resistant steel plate, allowing for a single classification of a large amount of raw sand, with particles larger than a certain size directly entering the finished product conveying belt. The fine powder in the raw sand is carried by the air flow into the mechanism sand separator for secondary separation. Particles smaller than 0.075mm are collected by the cyclone dust collector after entering the rotor, while some particles larger than 0.075mm fall into the medium-coarse powder cone through the gap between the guide vanes and the cage rotor. Additionally, some particles larger than 0.075mm enter the dynamic separator, where, due to the increased cross-sectional area and reduced wind speed, they are gravity-fed into the coarse powder collection cone. Sand and stone with different modulus requirements can be configured according to customer needs.


2. Higher grading accuracy


The separator is equipped with a "turbulent rectifier" certified by the national authority, where the airflow inside the rectifier rises relative to the rotor without rotation, significantly reducing driving power and system wear. The material is repeatedly cleaned in the sorting area, resulting in higher and more accurate grading precision.


3. User-friendly operation


The sifter uses a variable frequency drive for stepless speed control, making quality adjustment easy, sensitive, reliable, and with a wide range.


4. High grading efficiency


Based on the physical and chemical properties of the sand and gravel, expand the range of the classification and conveying zones to ensure thorough material dispersion and thus guarantee the classification efficiency.


5. Wear-resistant design, maintenance-free


The main components of this classifier include the disperser, fine material collector, side air adjustment panel, main air adjustment panel, and multi-channel feed distributor, among others. Constructed from imported abrasion-resistant steel plate, abrasion-resistant ceramics, and boiler steel, it effectively enhances the service life. The entire unit has been balanced dynamically, ensuring smooth operation across the full speed range.


6. The system employs dual-locked air dampers and internal recirculating air to effectively reduce air leakage and minimize dust emissions during operation.




Technical Features


In operation, the variable-speed motor drives the transmission shaft through a driving unit. The sand and gravel are processed by a static V-shaped separator located below the sorting chamber and then enter the sorting chamber. They fall onto the separator through a channel set between the upper and lower cones of the medium and coarse sand collection cone. As the separator rotates with the vertical transmission shaft, the sand and gravel are uniformly dispersed outward due to inertial centrifugal force. The heavier coarse particles are ejected toward the inner wall of the sorting chamber by the inertial centrifugal force under the action of the high-velocity air flow from the circulating fan. After collision, they lose kinetic energy and slide down the wall, falling into the coarse sand collection cone. The remaining sand and gravel particles are carried upward by the rotating air flow and, under the effect of the rotating large fan blades, some coarse sand particles are thrown against the inner wall of the sorting chamber. After collision, they lose kinetic energy, slide down the wall, and fall into the coarse sand collector.


Coarse and fine sands are further elevated by the upward air current after passing through the large fan blades and into the secondary sorting area via vertical guide vanes. Under the influence of strong and stable plane vortices formed by the rotating cage rotor, the coarse sands are propelled outward by centrifugal force after losing kinetic energy upon striking the vertical guide vanes, falling into the coarse sand collection cone and then discharged through the coarse sand管道 into the finished goods storage. Unqualified fine sand particles pass through the cage rotor and enter its interior, circulating with the air flow into the high-efficiency low-resistance cyclone dust collector, and then slide into the fine sand collection cone.


Compared to traditional classifiers, the mechanical sand classifier boasts the following outstanding advantages:


1. We've broken through the original water-washing sorting concept, shifting to direct dry material sorting.


2. Truly divides the original sand into three categories: "coarse sand (d>1.25mm), fine sand (75um<d<1.25mm), and stone powder." The coarse sand is returned to the crusher, while the medium-coarse sand goes directly into the finished product warehouse. The fine sand powder is stored in the fine sand storage.


3. The Mechanized Sand Separation Mill has a significantly higher output compared to other models, making it more suitable for large-scale production needs. Its advanced and reasonable structure allows for a wide range of changes in separation air volume, output, and feeding without affecting separation efficiency, and it boasts highly stable grading performance.


4. By integrating various sorting principles and utilizing aerodynamic analysis methods, the entire flow field has been optimized, significantly reducing equipment resistance and enhancing sorting efficiency. Energy conservation and consumption reduction are very evident. The sorting machine's rotor is equipped with a涡流整流器 certified by the national authority, where the airflow inside the rotor rises but does not rotate relative to the rotor. This utilizes the pushing force on the rotor after the airflow enters due to the reduction in angular momentum, saving driving power and reducing wear. Sand and gravel materials are sorted through two sorting sections, resulting in higher and more accurate sorting precision.
