Nine Point Adhesives Co. has developed a PE treatment agent for materials insensitive to PE surfaces, designed for surface treatment of polyethylene PE materials. By altering surface activity, it significantly enhances the surface activity of polyethylene PE, which is a member of the polyolefins. These materials are insensitive to surface treatment, have low surface activity levels, and are very difficult to bond.
After applying the treatment, it can achieve high-strength adhesion when paired with standard adhesives. It is also suitable for surface treatment before painting on PP/PE materials and before oil printing.
Performance specifications
Appearance: Colorless and transparent, low-viscosity organic solution.
Stability: Can be stored at room temperature for one year. Neutral, non-corrosive to packaging iron drums.
Usage Instructions
If the material surface has a release agent, it can also be directly treated with PE treatment agent.
Apply the PE treatment evenly to the surface of PP/PE materials, allow to dry at room temperature for 12 hours (curing can be achieved by heating to 50-60°C for 30 minutes to 1 hour).
After the treatment agent has dried, it can be glued, printed, or painted. The specific procedure depends on the type of adhesive used. We recommend using our company's proprietary products to ensure quality.
Due to other reasons, there may be adhesive deviation. Please contact our company promptly.
