Product Introduction

1Cr13 martensitic stainless steel has good hardenability, with high hardness, toughness, excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and cold deformation properties, as well as good shock absorption. It requires tempering at high or low temperatures, but should avoid tempering between 370-560℃.

Chemical Composition

Sulfur S: ≤0.030

Phosphorus (P): ≤0.035

Chromium (Cr): 11.50～13.00

Nickel (Ni): ≤0.60

Heat Treatment Process

Heat Treatment Specifications: Annealing, slow cooling at 800～900℃ or rapid cooling at about 750℃; Quenching, oil cooling at 950～1000℃; Tempering, rapid cooling at 700～750℃.

Metallographic Structure: Characterized by Martensitic morphology.

Shipment Condition: Delivered in heat treated condition, with the specific heat treatment type specified in the contract; if not specified, delivered in non-heat treated condition.

Application: Used for manufacturing parts that are resistant to weak corrosive mediums and can bear loads, such as steam turbine blades, hydraulic press valves, bolts, nuts, etc. These are mainly for components requiring high toughness, certain corrosion resistance, and the ability to withstand impact loads, such as cutting tools, blades, fasteners, hydraulic press valves, sulfur-resistant cracking equipment, etc. They can also be used to produce equipment and components that can withstand weak corrosive mediums at room temperature.
