How to network H3C switches
Stacking method
Stacking switches is a quick and convenient way to expand ports; for 7506e company, the bandwidth after stacking is dozens of times the speed of a single switch port. However, not all switches support stacking, which depends on whether the brand and model of the switch supports stacking; it also requires specialized stacking cables and stacking modules; and pay attention that the switches in the same stack must be of the same brand.
Layering method
This method is commonly used in more complex network architectures, which can be divided into: Access Layer and Aggregate Layer.

How H3C Switches Work
Switches are located at layer two (Data Link Layer) of the OSI reference model. Their operation relies on recognizing MAC addresses (all network devices have a unique MAC address, typically directly burned into the network card by the manufacturer).
When the switch receives a data packet at one of its ports, it first reads the source MAC address from the packet header (i.e., the MAC address of the network card of the device that sent the packet), associates this MAC address with the port, and adds it to the switch's memory address table; then it reads the destination MAC address, checks the address table for the corresponding port, and if the address is found, it directly copies the packet to the corresponding port. If the address is not found, it sends the data frame as a broadcast to all ports; the devices with the corresponding MAC address will automatically accept the frame. At the same time, the switch will associate the port receiving the frame with the destination MAC address and add it to the memory address table.

H3C Switches
A switch is a network device that connects multiple devices to a computer network, forwarding data to its destination through packet switching. The switch's role is to connect devices, network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless APs, as well as terminal devices like computers, servers, cameras, and network printers. 7506e certified.
Switches function to connect devices such as computers, servers, network printers, webcams, IP phones, and other terminal equipment, enabling interconnection with other switches, wireless access points, routers, and network firewalls, thereby building a local area network and facilitating communication among all devices.
