Air Conditioner Maintenance Procedure:
1. Comprehensive Inspection. When various air conditioners encounter issues, a thorough inspection is required. Initially, check the machine's pressure and the operating temperature values at various system points. For split systems, this must be done with both indoor and outdoor units connected. To measure the compressor exhaust pressure, connect the pressure gauge when the machine is stationary to prevent high temperatures from causing burns during operation. Also, feel the temperature of the compressor exhaust port to the condenser section of the piping. Use your fingers to quickly test the temperature to avoid injury.
2. Welding Operations. Prior to welding, the refrigerant in the system must be released. Always wear protective goggles to prevent eye injury. During the release of the refrigerant, the operator must not face the process opening or direct the gas towards others to avoid frostbite. Adhere to the relevant welding operation requirements to prevent poor installation or injury to others.
3. Power Operation. When repairing the outdoor unit of a split system separately, do not operate with power on when the high-pressure or low-pressure valves are closed to avoid accidents such as system bursting due to excessive pressure or explosions caused by the compressor running at a vacuum; when inspecting the outdoor fan system, power operation is required, and it must be ensured that the air conditioner panel and fan grille are properly installed.
