■ Air货运出口 procedures
Power of Attorney
The shipper must complete the freight waybill. The waybill should include the following sections: shipper, consignee, origin airport, destination airport, requested route/booking application, declared value, insurance amount, handling instructions, documents attached to the air waybill, actual gross weight, rate class, chargeable weight, description and quantity of goods, shipper's signature, date, etc.
2. Document Verification
Documentation should include: packing list, bill of lading, single entry declaration, foreign exchange settlement form, license, inspection certificate, raw material/finished product processing reconciliation book, claim/repair agreement, collect on delivery guarantee, customs seal.
Book shipment
Upon receiving the shipper's shipment forecast, obtain and fill out a booking form from the airline's tonnage control department, while providing the relevant information; the name of the goods, volume, weight, number of pieces, destination; and the required shipment date. The airline will arrange for space and flights based on the actual situation. When booking cargo, you can choose the route and carrier according to the shipper's requirements, while also striving to secure lower and reasonable shipping rates for the shipper.
4. Accept delivery
Shipper's delivery: The freight forwarder should fax the goods warehousing diagram to the shipper, noting the contact person, phone number, delivery address, and time, etc. For timely and accurate warehousing of the goods.
Door-to-door cargo pick-up: Shippers must provide the cargo company with specific delivery address, contact person, phone number, and time information to ensure timely warehousing of goods.
5. Export Customs Declaration
Upon completion of customs documents, the freight forwarder assists the shipper in making the declaration; upon verification, the official stamps the release seal on the original bill of lading for shipment.
6. Fee Settlement
The shipper and freight forwarder settle all related shipping charges prior to the aircraft's takeoff.
■ Air货运出口 Precautions
1. Due to the investigating department's concerns about a shipment, the goods were unable to be transported; due to weather conditions, the aircraft had to increase its fuel load temporarily, causing the take-off and landing weights to exceed the allowable limit, necessitating the removal of cargo and controlling the payload.
2. The outer packaging of the goods must comply with international transportation standards, and the goods must not be exposed.
3. Large items or overweight (gross weight ≥ 60kgs) require prior notification to the freight forwarder, to assist in properly packing the pallets for forklift accessibility.
