Apple seedling planting density per mu, how many years to bear fruit
The 2019 Ruiyang Ruixue Fruit Fair will be held at the Bai Shui Test Station. The new variety, Ruixue's beloved sister, makes its dazzling debut with its beautiful tall fruit shape, crisp texture, sweet sugar content, rich fruit fragrance, and is poised to become a delicacy among red varieties! It is a late-maturing red apple new variety bred by Professor Zhao Zhengyang's team at Northwest A & F University over 20 years. Crossbred in 2002, it was preliminarily approved in 2019. Its parents are Qinfu No. 1 and Pink Lady, ripening annually in late October.

Apples - Late ripening, full red, bagless,脆 sweet with rich aroma, tall and straight shape, attractive appearance, ideal for secondary Fuji growing areas!
Apples weigh around 250 grams each, with uniform fruit size and a neat arrangement. The fruit shape index is high, the maturity period is consistent, and the productivity is excellent.

The apple flesh is tight, dense, and fine with a strong fragrance and high sugar content of over 17%. It has a crisp and sweet taste, and its sweetness increases after being stored for a while, which is what we commonly refer to as having a post-harvest ripening period, and it does not ferment.

Apple seedlings can be planted with either standard or dwarf varieties based on local conditions. The planting period usually occurs after the frost in autumn when the seedlings enter their dormant phase and before the seedlings begin to sprout in March. Apples are medium-sized fruits, and with good water and fertilizer conditions, they can grow into medium to large sizes. The fruit has a bright red appearance, vibrant color, smooth surface, high sugar content, rich aroma, excellent quality, and high commercial value. They are easy to manage, with good fruit firmness, making them a rare late-maturing variety.

Growth Techniques: 1. Cultivate with low-density seedlings at 4 meters between rows and 1.5 meters between plants. For tall trees, maintain 4 meters between rows and 2 meters between columns. 2. Emphasize the use of organic fertilizers, applying 5-10 cubic meters per mu. 3. Properly thin out branches to promote apple flowering and early fruiting. 4. Implement green control technologies to meet green production standards for fruit products. 5. Pay attention to bag removal timing; in Fuping area, remove bags in mid-September, observing the defoliation situation accordingly. 6. Harvesting time is late October, and storage can be slightly advanced.
