Based on the structural characteristics of the upper beam of a large-scale free forging hydraulic press, a finite element model was established using the large-scale general-purpose finite element analysis software I-DEAS, and static finite element analysis calculations were conducted on the upper beam. The study investigated the structural stress (strain) and displacement (deformation) of the upper beam under full-load working conditions. The results indicate that the processing of new energy hydraulic presses using I-DEAS software for analysis and calculation offers high accuracy. The established model and adopted calculation methods are reliable, and the structural design of the upper beam is rational.
