Dust-free carborundum, this product is made by compressing and sintering brown corundum micro-powder at a high temperature of 2200 degrees. It has moderate hardness, is clean and easy to use, not prone to breakage, and can be reused multiple times, offering excellent sandblasting results.
1. Glass sandblasting, surface matte finishing for steel, steel pipes, steel structures, and stainless steel products. Rust removal by sandblasting before painting.
2. Cleaning for various molds
3. Removes stress in various machine parts, enhancing fatigue life
4. Cleaning and deburring prior to tin-plating for semiconductor devices and plastic encapsulated dual tubes
5. Shot peening and finishing processing for textile machinery and various metal products
6. Cleaning and deburring of various metal tubes and non-ferrous metal castings.
Product Features of Dust-Free Carborundum:
1. Balanced Strength and Flexibility – Made from high-quality materials, featuring mechanical strength, AL2O3 content of 68% or more, hardness up to 6-7 Mohs, and sufficient elasticity for multiple uses without breaking. The sprayed components yield the same effect as common corundum, with a lifespan 3 times longer.
2. Good Uniformity - Roundness greater than or equal to 80%, even particle size; post-spraying maintains uniform brightness coefficient across the sandblasted parts, leaving no watermarks easily.
Dust-free silicon carbide is a silicate mineral primarily composed of silicon dioxide, which is hydraulically graded and deslumed to achieve a reasonable particle size ratio.
Dust-free corundum has many advantages, including low density, excellent thermal insulation, excellent impermeability, excellent resistance to alkali aggregate reactivity, low water absorption rate, good frost resistance, and durability.
Dust-free silicon carbide, also known as washed sand, is so named because its main feature during use is dust-free. Its composition allows it to be a highly durable abrasive material that is reusable.
The grinding effect is excellent and efficient. Dust-free silicon carbide is used in glass manufacturing plants to polish glass products such as microscope lenses, glass dishes, and glass containers, achieving the required smoothness on their surfaces.
Also used in shipyards, steel structure factories, tool manufacturers, flooring industries, automotive manufacturing, and water jet cutting industries.
