Application Range of Silicon Carbide

1. Medium grit hardness, high stack density, free of free silicon dioxide, high specific gravity, and excellent toughness make it an ideal "environmentally friendly" sandblasting material, widely used in aluminum profiles, copper profiles, glass, precision molds for washing denim, and other fields.

2. Free-grinding abrasive grains, used in the free-grinding processes for cathode ray tubes, optical glass, single crystal silicon, lenses, glass for watches, crystal glass, jade articles, etc., are the commonly used grinding materials in China.

3. Resin abrasive wheels feature appropriate color, good hardness, tenacity, suitable particle cross-section types, and edge retention, making them ideal for resin abrasive wheels with excellent performance.

4. Adhesive abrasives are the raw materials for sandpaper, gauze, and other manufacturers.

5. Functional fillers are primarily used in automotive brake parts, special tires, and special construction products, and can serve as wear-resistant materials for constructing highway surfaces, airport runways, docks, parking lots, industrial floors, and sports fields.

6. The new application field of filtration medium utilizes abrasive materials as the bottom layer for the filtration bed, purifying drinking water or wastewater. It is a novel water filtration material both domestically and internationally, particularly suitable for non-ferrous metal ore beneficiation and oil drilling mud weighting agents.

7. Waterjet cutting uses abrasive as the cutting medium, relying on high-pressure water jets for basic cutting. It is applied to the cutting of components like oil (natural gas) pipelines and steel, representing a new, environmentally friendly, and safe cutting method.
