Black Corundum Product Introduction:
Black Corundum, also known as Low-Alumina Corundum, is a new derivative variety in the production of棕刚玉 at Lifoong Abrasive Tool Co., Ltd. It is a gray-black crystalline material primarily composed of α-Al2O3 and magnetite, obtained by melting bauxite in an electric arc furnace. Characterized by a lower Al2O3 content and the presence of a certain amount of Fe2O3 (about 10%), it boasts moderate hardness, high toughness, high-temperature resistance, and stable thermal properties. Our black corundum abrasive has a concentrated particle size, strong cutting power, high toughness, a balance of hardness and flexibility, excellent wear resistance, and high efficiency. It is a standard product for grinding, polishing, and sandblasting stainless steel products.
Application Range of Black Corundum:
Widely used in the tableware industry, electroplating industry, metal surface treatment industry, and glassware industry. Currently, it is extensively applied for the fine polishing of medium-hardness materials such as stainless steel kitchenware, lighting fixtures, motorcycle parts, and automotive accessories. Its polishing properties and effects are comparable to those of Japanese black corundum sand. It is a black corundum polishing material that can be used domestically as a substitute for imported black corundum sand materials.
Black Corundum Production Process:
Black corundum sand (also known as low-alumina corundum sand, iron sand powder) is a new type of polishing material, primarily made from high-quality bauxite and refined through electric arc furnace processing. It undergoes a complete scientific processing procedure. The product features moderate hardness, high toughness, excellent wear resistance, sharp edges, strong self-sharpening ability, and high cleanliness in polishing finishes. Its polishing performance significantly surpasses that of similar products domestically and internationally.
