Metallic perforated plate corrugated packing: Main technical features, advantages, and technical parameters
Metallic perforated plate corrugated packing is assembled by punching holes in the metal thin plate surface, rolling fine lines, and large corrugations. It features low resistance, uniform gas-liquid distribution, high efficiency, high throughput, and negligible amplification effect, and is applicable to vacuum, atmospheric pressure, and pressurized operations. The processing diameter range of the packing tower is φ150mm to over 12,000mm. The metallic perforated plate corrugated packing is a packing that is uniformly arranged in a regular geometric pattern within the tower and neatly stacked. It defines the gas-liquid flow paths, improves channeling and wall flow phenomena, can achieve very low pressure drop, and yet provides a greater specific surface area, achieving higher mass and heat transfer efficiency in the same volume. Due to its uniform, regular, and symmetrical structure, the metallic perforated plate corrugated packing has a higher porosity than bulk packing with the same specific surface area, offering greater throughput and significantly higher comprehensive treatment capacity compared to tray towers and bulk packing towers. Therefore, various general-purpose regular packings, represented by the metallic perforated plate corrugated packing, are widely used in industry. The transformation of tray towers with metallic perforated plate corrugated packing is particularly effective. Through careful design, manufacturing, installation, and operation, industrial amplification effects can be minimized. Owing to the advantages of low pressure drop, high throughput, and high separation efficiency, regular packings are widely applied in many tower vessels in the fields of fine chemicals, spice industry, refining, and petrochemicals.


Product Main Structure and Features: The main characteristics of the stainless steel perforated corrugated packing are that the stainless steel metal plate is directly punched and stretched into smaller-sized diamond-shaped mesh plates, which are then stamped into corrugated sheets to be assembled into packing trays. It combines the performance advantages of metal wire mesh corrugated packing and metal plate corrugated packing, being a new type of packing that offers high porosity and competitive pricing. Due to its large specific surface area, it boasts high efficiency. The regular diamond-shaped holes are easily covered by a liquid film, and the uneven surface enhances liquid film turbulence, mixing, and surface renewal.



Stainless steel corrugated packing is also used in the three-phase or two-phase separators of crude oil and natural gas processing as oil-water separator packing, agglomeration plate packing, and vapor-liquid separator packing.
